Update 22 Aug 2010: Added touch-screen support for pressing the on-screen remote-control buttons. Use the standard Nokia on-screen-joystick to control mouse. Tested on Nokia 5230.
What can it do? Why use it?
How to setup and try it?
Most easy setup in 2 minutes.
Download WMouseXP from http://github.com/ykasidit/WMouseXP/archives/master.
Extract the ZIP archive to some folder on your PC.
Start your computer's Bluetooth. Make sure your PC's Bluetooth is plugged-in & started in the system-tray. (or if your Notebook has internal Bluetooth - start it using its assigned Fn+ bluetooth button or hardware bluetooth/wireless button)
Note: WMouseXP is compatible with PC Bluetooth running on Toshiba, BlueSoleil, Microsoft or Broadcom/WIDCOMM Blueooth Stacks/Drivers (ask your computer store about that).
Double-click Start_WMouseXP.bat
Press the "Send & Install on phone" button to send the Mobile-Side program to your mobile phone and install it there. (Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is ON and discoverable - "Show to all".)
Note: If send fails (Motorola U9, Nokia 6230, etc), then open your phone's WAP browser to wap.ClearEvo.com and download/install WMouseXP on your phone from there.
- On your phone, start the Mobile-Side WMouseXP program, allow it to access Bluetooth until you see "Awaiting PC Side".
Note: On S60 2nd Ed phones , you MUST press the (left) soft key for "Yes" explicitly - because pressing the Joystick "in" would result in a default "No".
- On your PC's WMouseXP, press the "Connect" button. Wait until the PC side automatically finds the mobile side on your phone, it would then connect and minimize itself - showing the "Wireless Control Active..." balloon.
DONE! Move your phone's joystick and see your PC's mouse cursor magically move on your PC - try double-clicking, opening and closing stuff on your computer from your phone
Test it - Open a Powerpoint or OpenOffice Presentation, press 3 on the phone to start the presentation, click/press the phone's joystick to go to the next step/slide, press 2 to go back, press 1 to exit.
For a WIFI version: please try AgilePresenter WIFI Remote.

Usage Scenarios
Bluetooth Presentation Remote Control
Walk around explaining your presentation on stage (or in meeting/class rooms), click the joystick of your phone to move on to the next step/slide of your presentation. Press "2" on the numpad to go to the previous one. With WMouseXP, you have wireless control of your powerpoint presentation in your hand!
Wireless Mobile Bluetooth Mouse
With WMouseXP, your mobile phone can be used as a wireless mouse: move the mouse, left click, right click - all using your phone's joystick. WMouseXP generates smooth cursor movement on PC, the cursor move speed increases as you hold the joystick down. When you have control of your mouse cursor, you have wireless control of your computer. What's better is that you don't have to use a clean surface/table like that of a real mouse. This mouse is entirely hand-held. You can use WMouseXP on your sofa, your bed, from your kitchen, virtually anywhere in the Bluetooth range - this is normally up to ten meters away!
Bluetooth Media Player Remote Control
With WMouseXP, your phone becomes the remote control of your PC-based entertainment system. Sit-back on your comfortable sofa or lay down on your bed while having full control of your Media Player from your phone - change the track, increase the volume, open your favorite movie, double click your phone's joystick to make it full-screen. Feel sleepy? Just move the cursor to your Window's "Start" button and shut-down the computer. Yes, that sounds nice. Just use WMouseXP to make all this happen. Bluetooth signals can even go through walls, so you can even change the song in your playlist or increase the volume while you're in the bathroom! (but don't get your phone wet!)
